Dooy

Terms of Service

Last updated: February 19, 2026

1. Agreement and Scope

These Terms govern your access to and use of Dooy, including the website, dashboard, APIs, file-sharing links, profile pages, guestbook, analytics views, and webhook tools. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts and Access

You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity under your account, including linked OAuth identities and team access you grant.

3. Eligibility and Compliance

You may use the service only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for legal compliance of your content, recipients, and webhook destinations, including export controls, sanctions, and local sector-specific obligations that may apply to your use case.

4. Your Content and Permission to Operate

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Dooy a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to host, process, encrypt, transmit, and display your content only as required to operate, secure, and improve the service.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the service for malware, phishing, fraud, spam, unauthorized surveillance, abusive automation, or illegal content distribution. You may not attempt to bypass plan limits, abuse APIs, or interfere with service operations.

We may remove content, rate-limit requests, suspend features, or terminate access in response to abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or repeated policy violations.

6. Storage, Links, and Security Features

You can configure sharing controls such as password protection, expiry, mission/captcha access rules, and whitelist restrictions. You are responsible for selecting settings appropriate for your data and recipients.

7. Paid Plans, Billing, and Renewals

Paid features require an active subscription. Pricing, limits, and plan features are shown in-product. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. You authorize recurring charges for your selected plan.

You can manage billing details and cancel subscriptions from your account settings through the billing portal. Unless mandatory law states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. One-Time Purchases

Certain features may be sold as one-time purchases (for example storage boost packages). Feature access is granted after successful payment confirmation and may be tied to the purchasing account.

These package purchases are non-recurring and do not create a subscription.

Before paid digital services or digital content are started immediately, we request explicit confirmation that performance begins right away and that withdrawal rights may expire once execution starts, where permitted by law.

9. Stripe Payments

Payment processing is provided by Stripe. By purchasing a paid plan, you also agree to Stripe's terms and policies. Dooy does not store full card numbers. Stripe webhook events may determine plan status changes and payment state updates.

10. Refunds, Chargebacks, and Failed Payments

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. If a payment is reversed, disputed, or fails, we may downgrade, suspend, or terminate paid features. You remain responsible for valid outstanding charges.

11. Third-Party and User-Configured Integrations

The service may connect to third-party providers (for example OAuth providers, storage, payment infrastructure, email delivery services) and to webhook endpoints configured by you. You are responsible for the legality and security of destinations you configure.

12. Service Availability and Changes

The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time, including feature limits and integrations.

13. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account and service data for operation, security, dispute handling, and legal compliance. After account deletion, certain records may remain for legitimate legal and operational purposes.

14. Intellectual Property

Dooy, its branding, software, and service components are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant ownership rights in our software or brand.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dooy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Dooy from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

18. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, abuse, legal risk, payment failure, or operational security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use after updates means acceptance of the revised Terms.

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve disputes informally. If unresolved, disputes will be handled in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.
